Mission Statement

The HHHO emblem: The cross is a symbol of Christianity and is comprised of 4 H’s. Each H touches another H just as one Haitian will touch and help another Haitian. Haitian Helping Haitian Helping Haitian goes on and on in the spirit of Christianity. The words  Haitian Helping Haitian Helping Haitian  around the edge is in an eternal circle to represent that the Haitians help each other eternally.

HHHO became a 501(c)(3) in 2005.  In 2009 Haiti recognized HHHO as a NGO.  In every community we serve, we hope that our work becomes a tool for healing and strengthening people’s relationships with God.  Whether we are meeting people’s basic human needs, improving their living conditions, educating or sharing the gospel, we aim to always be encouraging individuals in their faith journey and pointing them toward a saving relationship with Jesus Christ...one way to truly become self-sufficient.

Personal Hygiene Education

We are working at teaching basic things such as brushing teeth, hand washing especially after going to the toilet, boiling water, keeping pots and pans and dishes off of the ground and covered so the pigs and chickens won’t crawl on them, keeping all the garbage in one burning place, teaching them they need to designate an area far from the house for urinating and defecating.
